Cedar Buddy

CNU professor Dr. Ron Quinlan’s Analytical Chemistry Research Lab is studying the effects of the regionality of hop growth and the relationship between terroir and perceived flavor and bitterness. We brought this study to life with this super hopped IPA, dedicated to all lovers of pine and cedar.

The preservation of the Atlantic White Cedar and its ecosystems along the east coast has been the lifelong pursuit of another CNU professor, Dr. Rob Atkinson, this beer’s namesake.

The goal of this brew is to highlight these two professors’ research, their students, and their work by producing an old school, hop forward, piney, punchy, dare we say, professorial IPA.
