Shadow Striker

Shadow Striker is our latest collaboration with Christopher Newport University. This time we paired up with the chemistry students at the Quinlan Research Lab to honor CNU’s student athletes on the men and women’s soccer teams. The result is an oft forgotten style, the Black IPA. This IPA retains its hoppy bitterness and earthy flavors while also featuring the roasty elements imparted by kilned specialty malts, imbuing both a darkness of color and a richness in taste.
